Jackson Hole Aviation

JHA · JAC
Sole FBO · de-ice, lounges, crew cars (2h limit)
Standard · 3 hoursSame-day · from 2 hours

The single FBO, operating under a use agreement with Grand Teton National Park — which shapes everything from hours to ramp space. Catering stages here for every tail.

JAC sits inside Grand Teton National Park, so ramp and hangar space are limited and capped at peak. Drop-and-go is common — tell us whether catering loads on the drop or the return.

Briefing

What we plan around at JAC.

Local constraints we build into every delivery window — curfew, customs, slots, transit, and ramp access.

01

Voluntary noise curfew, 9:30pm – 7am.

GA is asked not to land or take off overnight (expanded from the old 11:30pm–6am window). We schedule inside the curfew and pre-stage early departures the evening before.

02

National-park ramp limits.

Inside Grand Teton NP, ramp and hangar space are limited and parking is capped in peak periods — hangar space is for based aircraft only. Drop-and-go is common; we confirm the loading leg.

03

Noise-restricted aircraft.

Stage 2 aircraft are prohibited and a 92 dBA single-event approach limit applies. Most modern business jets qualify, but we confirm the tail.

04

High density altitude and terrain.

At 6,451 ft ringed by the Tetons, with a downhill-landing runway, slots and ETDs move with weather. We tie the catering window to the briefed slot.

05

De-ice procedure is tight.

Aircraft must be ready to taxi when the de-ice request goes in. We have hot items packed and ready, not still in the kitchen, so the order doesn't hold the slot.

06

Customs clears elsewhere.

International typically clears at Idaho Falls (IDA) or Salt Lake City first and repositions in. We stage inbound catering to the clearance leg.

Local sourcing

Around JAC.

Jackson Hole flights are catered from our regional network in Wind River and Jackson Hole ranch country. Most JAC orders pair Wyoming proteins with a specific Jackson town restaurant request or a recurring private-chef spec.

Wyoming ranch beef and game.

Wind River and Jackson Hole ranch country — grass-fed beef, bison and game, center-of-plate for the cabin.

Snake River trout.

Regional trout from the Snake River system, a Jackson signature when the principal wants something local.

Jackson town restaurant sourcing.

Want a specific dish from a named Jackson kitchen? Most of our JAC menu requests are pulled from restaurants in town. Tell us where.

Special-diet lead time.

Kosher, halal, and allergen-controlled meals run on a 24-hour lead — certified sourcing isn't local.
